Le développeur Sakitoshi nous propose de découvrir Neo-Geo Forwarder Creator, avec cet outil, vous allez pouvoir créer des .cia indépendant de RetroArch pour vos jeux Neo-Geo préférés en utilisant le noyau NeoGeo Final Burn Alpha 2012 sans avoir donc le besoin d'installer RetroArch ou tout autre émulateur.
La seule chose que vous devez garder à l'esprit est que cela ne fonctionne que sur New3DS, la OLD3DS n'est pas assez puissante pour faire tourner correctement les rom et le noyau en même temps. Vous devez aussi placer le bios Neo-Geo appelé neogeo.zip dans le même dossier que ce programme.
Le programme détecte si le bios est utilisable et ne prendra pas un bios incompatible ou corrompu. Si le cia finalisé ne démarre pas, c'est probablement la conséquence d'une incompatibilité romset, il faut tester la rom sur la version PC de Final Burn Alpha ou sur RetroArch pour voir si elle est compatible.
Le programme à beaucoup évolué depuis la v1.2.7, il intègre maintenant un menu pour remapper les touches de votre jeu et donne un ID/Product Code unique à chaque fois que vous chargé votre jeu.

Le plus gros défaut de Super Mario Maker for 3DS est l'absence de mode online : la principale fonctionnalité du jeu Wii U qui permettait de publier ses niveaux en ligne pour la partager a ses amis et au monde entier.
C'est la que SMMDB (pour Super Mario Maker Database) intervient , c'est un site open-source (http://smmdb.ddns.net/) qui permet de télécharger et d'upload des niveaux de Super Mario Maker pour 3DS , mais aussi pour CEMU et les Wii U n'ayant pas accès a internet .
Ce site , maintenant en version 2.0 , dispose de nouvelles fonctionnalités et est surtout compatible avec les 3ds , une mise a jour du programme OCDM devrait bien tot permettre de télécharger les niveaux du site directement depuis la console ! En attendant , il est déjà possible d'importer les niveaux manuellement .
Nous pourrions citer également l'affichage des informations sur le slot Wifi, SSID, mot de passe et MAC, l'ID de l'hôte, l'adresse IP ou encore les informations sur le NNID. Des évolutions ont aussi été opérées sur l'interface, avec notamment l'affichage du contrôle parental, la réponse à la question secrète, une accélération du déplacement avec le pad circulaire, et encore de nombreux autres changements que vous retrouverez dans le changelog ci-dessous.

Bien sur, vous aurez toujours besoin d'un exploit DSiWare pour le lancer. Ça reste une très bonne nouvelle, étant donné qu'un nouvelle exploit DSiware est développé.
Dans cette vidéo, il explique certains détails et montre le lancement de l'exploit à l'aide de la cartouche de super mario 64. Comme il le dit dans la vidéo, l'exploit sera toujours compatible avec les linker, mais cette version de l'exploit sera probablement release plus tard, à cause de la compatibilité des linkers (très peu ont une rom interne modifiable) et des outils à la disposition de tout le monde pour les flasher.
